I have named this kit the "Street Cup fender eliminator" as it fits this model with the stock seat. But.... it fits so much more! Bonneville T100,T120 , Street twin and Scrambler if used in conjunction with bench seat or seats that expose frame tubes. Designed so tail light mounts high. Right up snug under seat. Simple bolt on fit, utilizing stock mounting points. Plug and play harness option. Front turn signals, available with Triumph o.e.m mounts.
ASSEMBLY
1/ Assemble tail lamp and signals to FEK bracket. Lightly tighten the signals to mounts so the position can be set and fully tightened when fitted to bike.
2/ Disconnect battery
3/ Disconnect connector plug for fender harness.
4/ Remove 4 fender bolts with T30 driver.
5/ Eliminate fender.
6/ Remove rearward seat latch screw with T30 driver. Replace with 50mm screw supplied. Use 4mm Allen wrench.
For Street Scrambler with rack. Use the 35mm screw supplied and install in the rearward threaded hole. The seat latch is in a more central position than models with full seat.
7/ Remove the 2 forward fender screws and ferrules. Fit the 2 larger washers supplied under ferrule head and replace in back in position.
8/ Position stainless mudguard on the forward 2 ferrules, Lightly tighten using 6mm nuts and washers supplied. Make sure the ferrules are actually located in the holes.
9/ Position the light bracket single rearward hole on the rearward screw previously installed. Lightly tighten the M6 nut and washer (supplied).
Align the rear 2 fender mounting holes with the mud pan and light bracket. Insert the 2x oem fender bolts and secure with stainless washers / nyloc nuts supplied. As the screws and ferrules are mounted in rubber grommets a screwdriver will help align the holes.
10/ Fully tighten the 4 fender mounting screws. Then snug up the rear bolt but do not over tighten.
11/ The turn signals can then be tightened in the desired position.
12/ Connect wires
Connecting Specific lamps is explained below. It is not color to color. Color connection differs with tail lights.
